The One and Only Ivan, by Kathrine Applegate

Are you looking for a book that has the emotions, sad, happy, thankful, angry and depressing?  "The One and Only Ivan" is a good choice.  One part in the book that was sad and depressing was Stella, one of the elephants died.  She died because she broke her foot and it didn't heal right, so then she hit the same foot on a metal ramp.  It kept bleeding and bleeding then that's when she died in her cage.

I liked this book because it's got all the emotions and it makes you feel what the character feels.
