Fearsome Reptiles, by Camilla De la Bédoyère

Puff Adders puff up their bodies to scare attackers.  Komodo dragons bite prey and inject venom.  Tiapans have enough venom to kill 250,000 mice, 150,0000 rats and 100 people.

I liked this book because it had interesting facts on awesome predators.

Two other books I would recommend are:  Animorphs (series) AND Fearsome Reptiles.
