2017 Nutmeg and Cookies Recipes

EDDIE RED PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients:

1 cup of sugar
1egg
1 cup of peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Prepare lined baking sheet.
3. Mix sugar and egg together until combined.  Add peanut butter and vanilla to mixture and stir well.
4. Make 1 inch balls out of cookie dough and place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.
5. Using a fork make a criss-cross pattern on the cookies.
6. Bake for 15 minutes.

Cool and enjoy!


SPACE CASE BROWNIES
 
Ingredients:
 
3/4 cup of flour
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/3 cup of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
2 cups of chocolate chips
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons of water

Directions:
 
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Grease 9 inch square pan.
3. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt,set aside.
4. Combine butter, sugar, and water in a microwave safe bowl.Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes or until butter mixture is melted.
5. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips and vanilla, stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in eggs one at a time.
6. Gradually add flour mixture to chocolate mixture. Stir in remaining chocolate chips. Spread mixture into greased pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
