Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex, by Eoin Colfer

This book was incredible!  It took classic fantasy and sci-fi elements and twisted them into a fast-paced and hilarious story.  Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex, the seventh Artemis Fowl book, follows the adventures of a mentally impaired Artemis Fowl, an elf, a bodyguard and a centaur as they race against one of their most capable enemies.  I thoroughly enjoyed it and people of all ages will enjoy this series!

I liked this book because the plot was incredibly detailed and the author created a beautiful world.
