In The Son of Neptune, Percy Jackson wakes up with no memory of his prior life. After much confusion, he finds himself at Camp Jupiter, a training camp for Roman Demigods. However, Death has been locked up and Thanatos has been held prisoner by Alcyoneus. Percy, and his new friends, Hazel and Frank venture throughout the West to free Death, fighting wheat germ, freeing harpies and past memories along the way too.
I liked this book because it sets a brief break from the book prior and also the references to Greek mythology.
